We have listened to the voices of many Te Hiku whānau throughout our journey so far. We have asked them to share some of the health and wellbeing issues faced here in Te Hiku ō Te Ika and their ideas on how we can creatively solve them for future generations.
There are a lot of barriers to housing, even renting. A lot of houses are low quality as well.

We need generational change. What’s important to me is our hauora and whakapapa. We want a healthy whakapapa tree. We don’t want to be dying in our fifties.
